Of the Third Kinslaying

It was a long journey towards the Mouth of Sirion, I had set up an encampment for Alimaenda and our children, hoping that they may gain rest for a while. I was worried that my innocent children would first know fear and dismay, rather then love and courage, but I was wrong for I had took a rest from my watch and checked the tent where Alimaenda was resting, but instead did I not only see her, but hear her soft and relaxing words of song. I now rejected my thought of fear and dismay from my mind, and instead thought of anew about my beloved children. We had arrived a the Mouths of Sirion, and held a feast to commemorate Gondolin's memory, joyful it was yet sorrowful and mourning. Though, that joy had came lost, as the sons of Feanor had quickly came upon on us, demanding for the silmarils, I had gotten Alimaenda and our children in a place which I had thought safe; there did they hid, until the battle was finished or they were found. I defended them, only breaking stealth unless one drew near. Gratefully, we had survived, yet sorrowfully not a lot did. For the ships weren't able to come, and aid us with pushing them back. Our family had went to Balar, with the ships that came with High King Gil-Galad, and there did we rest and take note of the troublesome event.
