Within the dwarves merchant quarters in Bree, you will find an underground tavern called the Black crow. The place is mostly visited by dwarf and human merchants and characters of a more sinister reputation.
Within you will find three rooms.
A large common room filled with simple, but sturdy furniture's made to last. On the right side you will see a warm fireplace and a bar with a sour looking bartender behind the counter. On top of the beer barrels close to the bar, there is a stuffed Black Crow giving the name to the tavern.
Further in on the left side, there is another large room, usually reserved for private parties. The room have the same type of furniture's as the common room, a fireplace and the walls are decorated with shields from the south.
The last and smallest room are located behind the bar and functions as kitchen and storage room for the tavern. Staff only!
((OCC rules & other notes))
No visible weapons are allowed
From a role-playing perspective, the visitors have been checked by dwarf bouncers, before admitted entrance. Please respect this. Also notice, no visible weapons...
No pets allowed
The dwarf bouncers will take good care of them, taking them for a stroll if needed and feed them. they will not be butcher and feed to you in the tavern, we promise... *giggles
No injuries or death allowed, unless…
I want the place to be a bit rough, but having people constantly injuring or murder each other, will ruin the experience. Talk to me and the victim in advance, if you want to role-play such a situation.
Have fun and relax
We are all here to have fun, so let’s do that. And do not get annoyed if Caaran is mean to you, it is his character trait and nothing personally. Roll with it, and you might become friends. If you are new to role-playing, give me a heads-up and I will help as best as I can.
Other comments about role-playing and items like beverage and food.
Some just role-play that they get a beer and pay for it, but I prefer to use trade, trading beer and food for copper or silver, for real. If your not into such, send me a tell and we can role play it, like you want. I do not want to force upon another player a rp style, with are willing to adapt to each and one of you.
As for talking the dwarf language, Caaran have spent some times with dwarf trading caravans and managed to picked up few phrases, which he have no ideas what means, but he belive mean something.. for example he thinks that “cheers” is “slamuhk”!
