Amanda sat in Adso's Camp, quietly playing with a stick.
"Pretty far from Bree..." Kristophor remarked
"No one was supposed to find me," Amanda replied quietly, "Why not?" Kris asked her, "Nevermind, come on, Bailey" She stood up and started walking, but Kris stood in her way, "Amanda." He said, Emanda looked at him, "What?"
Kristophor looked down at her "What are you doing.."
You say, '"I'm leaving"'
Kristophor says, 'Leaving?'
You say, '"Yes"'
Kristophor tilted his head "Why?"
Emanda frowned, "Cause no one wants me around.."
You say, '"Everyone hates me"'
Kristophor arched his brow "What? Did you not see all the the love Bryn has givin you? What Taliom has done for you...miss Ces?"
You say, '"I did.. But she doesn't anymore... No one wants me around"'
Emanda went to the right toward the horses
Kristophor says, 'Miss Bryn..she went up and hugged you.'
Kristophor grabs the reigns
You say, '"Cause you told her."'
Kristophor says, 'Because Amanda, you shouldn't have to deal with those feelings alone. Look at what dealing with feelings alone have gotten you? You're bitter at the world..'
You say, '"But I never asked for help..."'
Emanda frowned, "I'll be back in Bree soon..."
Kristophor says, 'You're Eleven years old..you're not adventuring the wilds on your own because you are mad...'
Emanda sighed, "I'll be back, please.." she tried to pull the reins from him
Kristophor says, 'You can hate me all you want, curse my name, strike me down for trying to help but i'm not going to stop..'
Kristophor held the reigns tight "Running away doesn't solve anything...you won't survive by yourself out there."
You say, '"I will"'
Emanda motioned to Bailey, "I have Bailey, Shimmer, and my dagger"
You say, '"What'd you teach me to fight for if you don't trust in me?"'
Kristophor says, 'Bailey is a dog...a warg would eat her like a rabbit. The saem goes for shimmer, she spooks, then what. And I only taught you so you can protect yourself not so you can go out and find a fight.'
Emanda sighed, "Fine.. Keep Shimmer.."
Emanda walked past him, or tried too
Kristophor shakes his head "Why do you act like this.":
Emanda looked at him, "Like what?"
Kristophor says, 'Like you don't give a @#$% about anything.'
You say, '"I do!"'
Kristophor says, 'I knew a man who acted just like you did. Didn't care about anyone or anything anyone did for him. Just did what he wanted to when he wanted to and when he recieved some backlash for his attitude he left.'
Kristophor says, 'You know what happened to him Amanda?'
Emanda shrugged
Kristophor arched his brow "He ran away. He then was captured and taken to Angmar at thirteen years old and tortured everyday. He was stabbed, burned, choked, whipped...Then they made him a monster."
You say, '"I'm not him..."'
Kristophor says, 'Then he started to hurt innocent people..killing mothers and their babies because he was forced.'
Kristophor says, 'Yes you are..the way you're acting. You're the spitting image of him.'
You say, '"I won't kill people!"'
Kristophor says, 'Full of anger..anger that is misplaced.'
Kristophor says, 'You think he thought he was going to? He was just leaving to find some nice people and start an adventurer group with..'
Emanda sighed, "Can you just let me leave please? I can't stay in Bree.. I just can't"
Kristophor says, 'Do you even know where you're going..'
You say, '"Yes, I do"'
Kristophor says, 'Where.'
You say, '"I'm not saying"'
Kristophor says, 'That isn't a place.'
Emanda sighed, going over to Shimmer and pulling a map out of the saddle bag, "Take care of Shimmer.."
Kristophor looked to her "This is what you do then...Didn't your father run away from the people who needed and cared for him?"
Kristophor walked with shimmer to her
Emanda stopped, "Don't talk about my father, he never cared about me"
Kristophor says, 'But you cared about him. Like you don't care about all the people who care about you back in bree."'
You say, '"That's not true"'
Kristophor says, 'Yes it is.'
Kristophor looked to her "You just left them."
Emanda frowned, "I can't be around them anymore!"
Kristophor says, 'Why.'
You say, '"I never asked for their help"'
You say, '"But they give it anyway"'
Kristophor says, 'Because they care for you!'
You say, '"Ms. Leih cared for me.."'
You say, '"And now look what happened..."'
You say, '"I've told you, everyone who cares, leaves"'
Kristophor says, 'Taliom..Ces..Bryn..Conrob..Dryn.'
You say, '"And where are Ms. Bryn and Mr. Conrob? Gone, they left, again!"'
You say, '"Mr. Dryn left too"'
Kristophor says, 'All those people trying to help you but you just don't care..because you don't want their help. Because you are doing so well on your own..'
Kristophor says, 'Dryn is still here and so is Conrob and Bryn.'
You say, '"No, they aren't, Mr. Dryn just got back days ago!"'
Kristophor says, 'I just saw Bryn.'
You say, '"When?"'
Kristophor says, 'Yesterday.'
Emanda shook her head, "Fine, can I have my horse back?"
You say, '"If not, I'll just walk"'
Kristophor stared at her "You really are just going to leave.." he holds the reigns out "Think though..think about all the people you're leaving." he sighed "I'm sorry I couldn't do more for you..I am not your father, but I thought I could provide you atleast some father figure.."
Emanda shook her head, "Every father figure leaves me in the end... There's no use..."
Kristophor stepped away from her, he just stared at her with a distant look, as if looking through her. "I'm sorry." he turned and walked away
Emanda dropped her bag and map to the ground
Emanda turned and got onto Shimmer, riding off without the map
Emanda stopped Shimmer and thought, looking over her shoulder and turning back, going back toward her bag and map, jumping off Shimmer and grabbing them, putting her bag back on and her map in the saddle bag.
Kristophor takes the few flowers from the side of his horse and lays them on the grave.
Kristophor lowers his head and speaks some words in Sindrin and then turns to go to his horse
Emanda rode up hesitantly, getting off Shimmer.
You say, '"You're right.."'
Emanda said quietly.
Emanda looked down, "I'm sorry..."
Kristophor takes the reigns of Shadow and looks to Amanda "Thought you were leaving?"
You say, '"I... I was going to.."'
You say, '"I can't..."'
Kristophor says, 'Why?'
You say, '"It's not fair.. To any of you.."'
Kristophor nods "It's not fair. But no one can stop you."
Kristophor climbs onto Shadow
Emanda frowned, "You're right, though... I should let people help me.."
Kristophor says, 'You should..'
You say, '"I'll let them.."'
Kristophor slowly nods "Very well then. I'm glad you decided to let them."
Emanda nodded lightly, biting her lip.
Kristophor looks down at her "You stay..I stay."
Emanda looked at him, "Deal."
Kristophor nods and looks forward "Maybe when this cult business is over..i'll teach you some of my trade."
Kristophor says, 'Some..'
You say, '"What trade?"'
Emanda jumped up onto Shimmer.
Kristophor began to walk to town "What I do for a living."
You say, '"What do you do?"'
Emanda asked, riding after him
Kristophor looks about as he rides "I protect..I have felt the pain of losing many. I aim to protect people, any person..so they don't feel my pain.
Emanda nods.
You say, '"Do I get a big sword like yours?"'
Kristophor says, 'It's not for coin..or praise or Glory. It's to be able to walk into town and see a smile on a familes face.'
Emanda nodded
You say, '"I know"'
Kristophor looked back to her "might need somewhing bigger than a dagger."
Emanda smiled, riding up beside him and not behind, "Can I get a sword?"
Kristophor looked to her and looked her over "don't know if you can handle a long one but we can size you."
Emanda nods
Emanda smiled lightly, "Thanks... 'Dad'." she chuckled quietly
Kristophor says, 'My sword isn't a greatsword..it is long yes but it is fashioned and smithed to have a long reach but be light in hand.'
Emanda nods
