Trailing the Golden Light - Part One

Aeruthuil pants, leaning over against the trunk of the large tree before him as he casts his eyes away from Laurëa down towards his boots. With a grunt he reaches down to pull his right boot off and shake it out to get rid of the small bits of dirt, twigs and tiny stones which had been torturing his feet the past couple of hours.

As he watches the young woman sit at the large tree he smiles, though his eyes cautiously glance over towards the hound she had called Cormac. He had been certain the beast knew he had been there, following her. Surely he would know, he would have smelled him or otherwise heard him..-Would he have?

Aeruthuil raises an eyebrow, watching the two still as he slowly sits down. The distance between him and the pair wasn't great, but not close either..-Just as how he seems to like it so far.

Only few minutes passed before the hooded woman falls asleep. Tilting his head back Aeruthuil waits, looking at her as an hours passes. He then slowly gets up, making his way over quietly. With a curve around the sleeping beast, the hound..-not the woman, he kneels before Laurëa.
Aeruthuil takes a deep breath and reaches out to her boots, slowly opening them up and pulling them off. Slipping his hand in to a small bag he grabs a jar with a creamy-green salve and slathers some of the substance on the woman's feet before, when it had been settled in to her skin enough, he puts her boots back on her feet though left them loosened up.

With a slight hint of a smile he stands back up, taking steps backwards he moves back towards the tree he'd call his spot for the night, wrapping his cloak around him he then watches over her through the night.
