DORVUS'S MASTER LOG
It has has been 4 years since the Blackhand society had disbanded, yet it still pains me to admit i could do nothing to stop it. When i was just a 12 year old lad, the organization taken me in as my family had fallen on hard times, they taught me everything i know about stealth, pick-pocketing, lock picking, and stealing, they were a true brotherhood, and their leader at the time, Bill, was a man of his word. The group were like another family to me, a family in crime, we worked together on jobs, and instilled fear in the people when needed, bill had earned his respect. No idea who said that "there is no honor among thieves", i had seen plenty honorable events, thieves are no more people than an honest farmer, we just like to...use different methods to gain our coin, we don't answer to nobody but our own group, and we follow no laws, no restrictions, but those of our own. As a wise man once said: there are no laws, but those a man makes for himself, a code i stick true to. Whoever sold the guild out, got punished or killed, but nobody ever had any reason to do so, it was like one big happy family. Now i stand here, doing what i do best, years later, yet without the Blackhand society to back me up, and most of these patrons i meet at taverns are a bunch of morality addicted fools, most of them without even manners. There was this eleven lady i met last night, we had an honestly good time, nor did she judge or insult me, i miss the kind of company i can just chat to without any restrictions, a company that just accepts what i do with pride, i miss the Blackhand society, but there is nothing to be done, trying to resurrect the past rarely works out, i learned that the hard way...
