29 Chithing. Home, Bree-land.

Penned in precise and evenly lined sentences, a blank page near the middle of a slightly scuffed, top-grain leather journal is newly inscribed. If one were to flip past the filled pages to the very beginning, one would find the first page titled with: Bernie Tweed, Bree-land followed by a series of odd symbols.

Mail scathing letter to Sanders about 5 missing casks. 5! Unconscionable. Loan terms may need review.

To Staddle for trade. Don't forget to visit Joy to see if she has any new fishing lures.

Drop by ma & pa's grave. Not quite anniversary, but it's been a while since I've visited. Bring flowers for ma.

º Festival still going on. Not attending tonight.

≡ Set out for an evening stroll through countryside to clear my head. Caught a burglar trying to steal honey from the hives. Foolish young red-headed lass, hurt herself something ugly in the process. Felt sorry for the poor thing, not a thief by choice but by need. Patched her up, got to talking with her. No family, no money. So she says. Seemed honest, but could be influenced by her easiness on the eyes. Told her to come around again, I'd have some work for her if she's interested. Gave name of Kitowyn.
