It had been a rather quiet day when Aeruthuil managed to get himself to try and find Brywulf, who often seemed to be around the Prancing Pony Inn as of late. Though finding Brywulf was not as easy as it seemed, apparently.
As Aeruthuil stood around to wait for the man, he noticed the group of usual Dawners. Taala and Eroforth were being themselves, as usual. An odd pair, people he'd usually not speak to though they had always been kind to him and he had always held a certain respect for them both. Though, with them was the man Seaver. A quiet man he was, always had been. Quite the brooding type from what Aeruthuil had seen from him, though something was always slightly off about him.
It didn't take long before Taala and Eroforth left, not before Taala pressed Aeruthuil a note in his hand as usual, and so Seaver had been left alone at the bar. Curiously Aeruthuil had looked at the man, having noticed Seaver's glances towards him for many months now. He had wondered what the problem was. He had heared the man had issues with him, though the reasons for this seemed to come from a delusional mind at best.
''The man had claimed that I apparently did not at all like him, something that had never come from my lips. Something to do with a letter sent by Ayla to the man in the past, though even Ayla seemed to have been stunned and confused by Seaver's words before herself. From what I understandd, Seaver had misinterpreted the letter..- Though, this wasn't much of my concern. It was the man's choice after all to think as he pleased, instead of finding out the truth.
Seaver had convinced himself almost that Ayla's unborn child, then, could have been Seaver's instead of mine. Of course this hit a sensitive spot, what man wouldn't find insecurity after a claim such as that was made, but it never was anything that should have been such a big deal regardless. After that, Seaver had been hurt by the fact Ayla no longer visited him. Yes, I had told Ayla to -never- leave the camp without my permission. A simply act of protection instead of hatred, days before that she had been threatened by a man who didn't seem too afraid to also take her child from her.
This boggles my mind the most.. Seaver had asked me just before his depature to take care of Ayla to the best of my ability in his absence. I have always been quite aware of the nights Ayla and Seaver had spent together, and that the two had formed a bond over-time. Regardless of my wishes, Ayla of course, had gone out and tried to find Seaver at his pub or what ever it really is.
Ayla never had been one to quite 'obey' to anything I had told her, and I knew this. It was expected she would do what ever she'd want regardless, it was in her nature. It is why I always made sure she would never truly be alone in my absence. Just as promised to Seaver.
The drama that had unfolded between the two seemed odd, something that shouldn't have happened the way they did..-But they did regardless. Perhaps one day I'll know how I became the bad-guy in all of this.. The dirty looks given to me by the man did truly seem to come from a place of perhaps jealousy. The claims Seaver had made, that it was in fact -me- who had been the one to cast Seaver out and look at him oddly were just ridiculous. After all, it had been Taala and I who have been pleading the two to speak to one another in a calm fashion, which never seemed to happen. Perhaps it was useless to even try anymore. People grow apart so easily these days.''
Aeruthuil lifts his flask up to his lips, taking another sip from the cheap whiskey. He had kept his eyes on the man, lost in his train of thoughts before he noticed Seaver seemingly tense, glancing back to him. The man had frowned, perhaps something more had been going on that he hadn't been aware of.
Aeruthuil sighed, deciding to cast his attention towards the young Maiden from the Maerc, Brynleigh. ''Another rather interesting figure, to say the least. Perhaps interesting in a curious way, but not one that seemed all too bad. She always had been kind to him after all, even after Tothrandir's depature. It had been good to see her find love again, even if this love seemed odd to him and many others, but she seemed to be happy and that is all what matters.''
With a grunt he shifted again, to his surprise Brywulf had joined him already in this time. With a grin he nods over to him. Time to deal with more pressing matters.
