Horsie!

Beneath her the old horse trotted along the long path.  With his head held still, she could see the gentle bounce in the horse's ear with each step.  The road beneath them trampled down with rocks and dirt.  Soft clouds of dust drifted in the air and drifted up into her nose causing her to sneeze.  A neigh followed her sneeze.  Looking down, she saw the ears of her horse twisted backwards as if he was listening to his rider on top of him.  Pieces of hair stuck out in the light and glimmered in the light of the sun above them.  A line of glowing light traced over the outline of the dark coloured horse.

Looking past the horse, Audelwyn's gaze then landed on Eorland, the man she traveled with.  It had been such a long time riding that Audelwyn felt an ache in the bottom of her back.  Leaning back, she tried to stretch out her lower back and rested her hand on the back of her saddle.   The pop resonated through her ears as her back cracked into place.  But following the crack, the soft pounding noise of a bag attached to her saddle fell on the floor.  Her hand pulled away from the back of her saddle as she retook her reins into her hands.  Pulling the reins back, Audelwyn dug her heels into the sides of her horse gently to a stop.  Her horse complained with a neigh and jerked his head forward, but he stopped nonetheless.

Audelwyn slid off the horses back as she looked down to the bag sprawled out across the ground.  Light glimmered off the spare coins that had fallen free from the confines of the bag.  Suddenly Audelwyn felt a flurry of panic as her stolen goods revealed themselves to her newfound friend.  Quickly, Audelwyn sent herself onto her knees as she gathered up the coins into the bag and hugged it closely to her chest.  'Please tell me he didn't see them... Please,' Aud thought to herself as she pushes her weight upward to her feet.

"Audelwyn," she could hear his tone.  He saw them.
