Captain's Quick Report: A Yard Party with the Brandy Badgers

A fine gathering tonight as always, was this day's weekly Yard Party at the Bird and Baby Inn, featuring the musical collective named the 'Brandy Badgers', as part of the organization known as the Grand Order of the Lost Mathom.  Though mixed with yule songs were some most interesting melodies that seemed more spring-like than winter, the audience and musicians put together an outstanding performance once again that had lively stepping and dancing, cheers and conversation amongst those honest Hobbit-folks, and quips and remarks between the band and crowd during songs throughout!

To declare as always that these celebrations and gatherings are a success would be a sore understatement -- the Hobbits of the Shire and the folks whom join with them in good cheer at these events and parties bring together an atmosphere that speaks greatly of their joyful and merry culture.

Why as a matter of fact, Master Reader, if you happen to be a Hobbit living in the Shire, or happen to be travelling through the Shire-bounds for good reason, as of the time I write this -- here is a list of upcoming events seen in the current edition of the Bramblebury Gazette.  Perhaps they may be of interest to some of you!

P.S.

Word also has reached even as far as Bree, and perhaps further into Ered Luin, where Elves also known to reside, that an occasion of Elven tradition, and celebration fitting to this close with the season of Yule, will also be taking place in just but a few days.  A menu has even been rumoured to have been published of what food will be served.  The hosts are said to be those of the Elven kinship known as 'Vanimar'.
