Captain's Quick Report: The Aleford Band at the Bird and Baby Yard Party

A recent article within the Bramblebury Gazette reads as; "The Aleford Band have recently reformed combining the talents of the Aleford Sisters - Gennetta and Allegretta, with those of Miss Toolee Twitchytoes.    Their repertoire includes a wide variety of music and songs which will take you on an emotional journey that will have you laughing, crying and thinking. Oh and hopefully dancing too."

And by my beard, did such a whirlwind of emotions did arrive with this concert -- there were old friends and familiar faces of friendly cheer to see, even Master Silon did I see again at long last!  And an outstanding host of melodies which truly did take one's breath away with the enchanting beauty of the lyrics sung, and still yet plenty of lively dancing and cheer as this Yard Party has continued to deliver ever so much!

From the Aleford Band performing to Miss Bilbeto and Miss Toadflax bringing together this successful organizing of an event; the atmosphere today could warm your hearts with kindly cheer and reflection.  And indeed it did, at least for this old Bree Captain! Hohoho!

But the future beckons on the horizon and there is still yet more to discover, as ever to come our way, as rumours go.  In just a few days, will be the growing charity that is "Archet Aid", where for it's fourth running, funds will be raised through concert and songs for the folk of Archet, whom haven't yet recovered from the disaster of the attack on their town. Further musical performances are planned for the Yard Party, with one source describing there is one upon the 29th of this Month, but and then later the 7th of the next Month; something about goblins... and a da Bugans band.   Finally again thus far from the latest edition of the Bramblebury Gazette, the next Oldfurlong Amazing Koncert Series, or OAKS for short -- organized monthly by the Miss Acorne of Oldfurlong -- has confirmed the extraordinary band to play on the 16th of next Month are the 'Pootlers', a group whom, from what I can gather, is made up of three Hobbits with many friends amongst the Shire, just as with the Aleford Band; names both one and all to cheer heartily! Hoho!

And surely the time of Harvestmath, or the Harvest Festival, might soon be upon us as well?  There is much heading our way... of this I'm sure!

P.S.
There has been reports drifting back from the lands of Enedwaith of the Hobbits whom departed the Shire on a historical field trip, and found at last a village of their folk, nestled into a place called the GloomglensWhat a journey they must have had, and what interesting culture they must have learned during their hours spent within the village
