Personal Records; Entry 51

This is a Letter

My duties in Mirkwood were completed in several days.

Rasheke and myself gathered supplies from the Mirk-eaves; delivering them to Emyn Lûm (Ost Galadh), then to the Ashenlades Encampment. From there, Rasheke went to his own buisness; and I, alone, traversed the swamplands back to the Anduin Landing.

The journey to Ost Galadh was a sad one. We conversed on the former glory of the forest, and as we reached the yard of bones, where is entombed former warriors and residents alike, we payed our respects. It is there, where I offered a prayer to Telfaras; who's body rests beneath the earth.

Ever my mind lingers on my beautiful wife. How I love her so, so much. And our child to be. While I am away, she will most likely be at home, worrying for me. Oh, how I asked her not to...but when a wife loves her husband as such, I believe it is to be expected.

Thus, I conclude this entry. The boats are arriving, and I will sail across to Lórien; and then Imladris, hopefully for the assembly.
