Fengdiel read the letter once more, she had a hard time taking it in, after all.. Theodulf had been gone for a long time and the last thing she knew was that he had gone missing, assumed dead since his helmet were recoverd from a field of battle not far from the river Isen. She hurried to her spot in the study..packed her bag then began to wonder..Fiontann, Rothrian, Rouge, Anriett, Arrowea and the rest, where were they? She felt unsure about leaving but she needed to, a note will have to do she thought.
She wrote the note in all haste before almost running out the door of the study, mounting her steed as quickly as she could and spurred it on down the path from the study, the letter crumbeled in her hand, tears gently running down, was he really alive? She did not know, she just knew that if he was said to be alive, she had to find him no matter the cost.
She rode for hours, reaching the Shire fast, stopping once to let her steed rest a little and get somethink to drink and eat herself before mounting up again and rode on, passing Bree with haste, such haste she never stopped, all she thought of was Theodulf. The midgewater marshes rushed by her as she rode onwards towards the Lone Lands, stopping by the Forsaken Inn for the a few hours of sleep and letting her steed rest. She rode away with the sunrise in her back nad made good progress during the day and made it all the way to Enedwaith before night fell once more.
"I wonder where the others are..I wished I had some company.." Fengdiel whispered for herself as she lay next to the steed by the little campfire, her thoughts went to the few friends she had then to Theodulf, was he alive? She hoped so would be as she closed her eyes and fell asleep. She woke up early the following morning and saddled her steed and sat off once more, now riding as fast as she could towards the rolling hills of Rohan, passing Enedwaith into Dunland with haste she soon came to the river Isen and crossed it, passing into Rohan, her homeland.
Fengdiel looked around her as she crossed the river, no sign of a battle there she crossed so she decided to seek shelter for the night in the town of Harwick. Once there she went into the mead hall and were soon sitting down with a few of the riders in the Eotheod, drinking and eating and just enjoying life for a moment, knowing that the following day she needed to head out again..to look for him.
