Diary,
I have been very busy of late, I have been looking up and down the East-West road between the homesteads and Bree, and looked around the marshes. There's no sign of my quarry anywhere. I've barely had a chance to see my friends.
I saw Rin on her name day which was good, I got to give her the carving I made for her before rushing off again. She seemed to like the carving, it was of her two pets, Yaluz and Pip, a mouse and bird respectively. I was pleased with my work, Rin taught me well so I hope she feels proud too.
I've also spent a lot of time with Fal. She is letting me have one of her lynx's kittens. I've named her Brynna, and today we were practicing hunting a target. The mother lynx was hiding in the grass, and I was telling Brynna to go after her. It was cute watching the kitten roll about in the grass like a goofball, but she did what I asked.
Rin joined me when I went home, she seemed off, and when I asked about it she took some pestering before opening up. She's left home, walked out on Blince to live with Skelcar. Apparently Blince has been rude about Skel, and rude to Rin, treating her like a child. She's young but she's smart and mature (most of the time) so should be allowed some freedom. So she stormed out and has moved in with Skelcar. We cuddled up by my fire as she explained this, and I comforted her as much as I could, though I don't know how good.
I spent the night cuddling Brynna, who now lives at my house, I need to find some way to thank Fal.
