Diary,
I've been so busy since my last entry, so much has happened! I was at the Pony speaking with Rin and Ric when I decided to further investigate the woman who attacked Fal. Rin and I walked down to the jailhouse where we spoke to a watcher. The watcher had found the woman in the Forsaken Inn and chased her to a Blackwold camp in Chetwood.
He drew us a map, as neither of us know the the area and we went on our way. We were stopped as we left the jailhouse, and told us he had the golden sigil Basaran lost when attacked by the hooded woman. We took him to the Dawn Hall, where he began to act odd. He didn't have the sigil on him, and began asking about the Captain. He wanted information, yet seemed to know about him at the same time. That and the constant insults to the Dawn led to Tim and myself getting rather angry with him. We were about to escorted him from the room when the Captain came in. We explained the situation to him, which is when things became more odd.
The old man, Bronnan, claimed to be Bas' father. However when he struck Bas I didn't care who claimed to be and gave him a punch to the head. He also received a couple of strikes from Tim and a candlestick to the back of the head from Dani, Bas' partner. The man left after that, and after short deliberation Bas went out to talk with him, and told me and Tim to look after Dani. That was when I realised I'd see her in the Pony earlier, flirting with the man next to me. I asked her about it, but she became intimidated, and when Tim asked her a couple of questions she got even worse so left.
I had forgotten by now, the map the watcher had given me so left for bed. The next day, I met the Captain and discussed what I had talked to the watcher about. He gave me the contract, keep up communications with the watch, share information and track down this woman. Which starts with a raid on the Blackwold camplease. As we spoke, a woman entered the Dawn Hall, and asked to join the Dawn, I offered her a spot on the raid. I also asked Gorlen and Tim if they would like to come along. So now I need at least one officer in the team and I'll be ready to go.
While in Bree, a woman approached me, and asked about the Bloody Dawn. I told her I was a member, and she asked if I knew a man she knew long ago. This being Tim. I asked a few questions, to find out how she knew Tim, and they had been together briefly while teenagers in Gondor. I took her to see him, where she began spewing nonsense. How he had ran away on her, lied just so he could bed her and so on. He couldn't remember her, and I believe him. As he said, he spent most of his adolescent life completely drunk. So she slapped him and I pulled her off him, it would look worse if Tim hurt the woman, him being a man and all, and told her to leave or listen to him. So she started accusing us of sleeping together, or him lying to me to get me to bed and so on, but she was a lunatic, and we ended up pushing her I to the river.
Tim and I had a chat afterwards, I made sure he knew I thought no loss of him because of these lies but that o d thing she said was true. I do have some feelings for him, but I am in no way ready to be more than friends d's with him. He was understanding of course so I left for home feeling a little happier.
