Ildrand has been spending a lot of time with me, lately. He even let me wear his hat! Claery wants me to show her how to make paints, and I can't blame her, for I make the very best paints! I know I don't know her very well, not yet anyway, but she is the only girl friend that I currently have. So that makes her my very best friend, of course. Not that I don't have any girl friends on purpose, I don't think they like be very much, usually.
She usually asks to braid my hair when she sees me, but I put braids in her hair today instead. Martie had been running around and acting silly, yelling about dragons and such. He tried to stab Ildrand with his rolling pin, but Ildrand doesn't seem to like playing around a whole lot. Speaking of Martie, I still wear his flower crown. He hasn't asked for it back, so I suppose it's mine now.
I am really hungry right now, and Ildrand has gone off for a bit, so I think I'm going to go find something to stuff my face with.
