Captain's Quick Report: The Maidens of Vanimor

  
   In Celondim, far in the lands of Ered Luin, to the west from Bree and the Shire, there has returned a fabled band of enchanting Elven maidens, so-called the 'Maidens of Vanimor', whom play upon the interval of every two weeks at a time -- a schedule they have since returned to performing ever since around the same time the Forest of OAKS took place.

  But sadly this poor Bree Captain just happened to miss all the musical concerts they have done since then, until today that is!  But even then, I arrived a little late again and only caught the latter half of the music - what dastardly luck!  It must be the mailing system in Bree-town... have to have a word with those messengers and delivery lads and lasses... On the joyful side, the Maidens once more spoke near the end of today's concert, confirming their next performance will be again in two weeks -- though I hope another reminder perhaps just a week prior might do the trick to refreshing folks like I with business Bree Captain's schedules to keep!

  However today was most joyous, for with a welcoming message from Lady Belawenn, I was able to make haste for Celondim and arrive in time to still enjoy the wonderful music they ply!

  It was a smaller, more humble crowd today than I remember the last having attended the Maidens' concerts in Celondim, many months ago, not counting their outstanding appearance at the Forest of OAKS, but full of warmth and cheering dancing from the audience present as you would ever expect!  And the tunes did the Maidens' play!  And the lyrics!  Surely not from this world I tell you; it was amazing beyond measure!  Perhaps like a good healthy routine of meals each day to keep a body fit, surely the musical concerts by the Maidens of Vanimor are quite part of a healthy living for the soul, just as much as those OAKS concerts in Oldfurlong and many other events!  Perhaps now at least, I should be more aligned with the performance schedule these Maidens keep, and be better prepared to travel out here to Celondim again in two weeks time, when they shall return again!

P.S.
 Along with the celebrations of Summer having now begun across the land, (( July 22nd - August 5th is the Summer Festival in LOTRO! )), there is also the OAKS musical event in Oldfurlong to look forward to next this coming next week or so.  Then on the First day of the next Month, early word from the Shire-bounds that a 'Summer Tales In The Shire' will be taking place by that famous Party Tree, north of Hobbiton.   Additional rumours have begun to weave it's way amongst the land of a particular Bingo Boffin, for what reasons I do not quite know, or understand fully, but such news has been of importance to keep an eye on since having heard of it.  Quite a-plenty of things and events arriving quick-like lately!






Here are a number of rough sketchings and colorings attached to this report, it was a most wonderful time listening to music and dancing, the parts this ol' Bree Captain was able to catch near the end at least!
