Chronicle Summary
One could argue, that in this world there are two types of people.
Those born with predetermined destinies, and those born without.
My own life, I believe, falls into a third category.

A NOT SO SIMPLE TALE
ABOUT A SIMPLE MAN
By Hathan Woods
Prologue, and foreword
There are those in this world, with great, lengthy tales; stories of their lives revered and loved by all: from great heroes, to the best of warriors, to the wisest of scholars. My own story is quite different.
I am no great hero, nor much of a warrior, and I am not very wise – having made countless errors in my life. I am but a simple man, with a simple tale: one with little but the truth within it. While, of course, I may have seen that which few have, or experience that which few wish to, I am the simplest person I know – perhaps, because I know very few people.
My tale begins long ago, when I was but a simple child, with a simple life – average expectations, and the great imagination of youth.
Slaying dragons in my sleep, and climbing buildings were my favoured hobbies – and, though I did not know at the time, I had a tendency to be sceptical; questioning everything around me.
As the son of a farmer from the lands of Bree, I received little in the way of an education – and it was not until later in my life, that I learnt to read and write. For my namedays, were they remembered, I received new shovels, rakes, and the like – and on the arrival of my uncle, I would be gifted with wooden carvings.
Understand that, while I received little, I was far happier with that which I received, than the rich were with what they received. Not that I knew the rich; they were all in Bree-Town, or so I thought at the time.
The following is now OOC, it does not exist in the actual book.
