The lash and the cage

Aeo looked up at his arms, frowning slightly as he looked at the ropes binding his wrists, muttering softly so no one would hear,"Well, that was a right good idea.." He tensed for what was to come, gritting his teeth as old wounds were reopened, One, two, three...On and on it went, the pain getting worse but still he did not cry out, he would not, He knew that's what they wanted, to hurt him for hurting them, for killing their friends, He didn't care, They had hurt him far worse in the past, and he had hurt himself even more, He lost count of how many times they whipped him, some where around thirty he thought to himself, but he wasn't sure, the screams had started on the edge of his hear, Old memories he had tried to forgot, Ones that had broken him once, But made him thirst for revenge now. And to an extent made him help ignore the pain.

They laughed at him, Tattled his cage when they could kicked and slapped at the wounds they had given him, He ignored them as best he could. he had one person he wanted out of all of them.

His old master Da'kir. a harsh man, he did not care what he had to do, it had been a foolish idea to try and take him and his guards on by himself.

He sighed as they untied the binds that locked his wrists in place, walking to his cage, head held high as they sneered at him,"No, they will not break me again." He thought to himself."Not this time, this time they die. All of them, No matter how long it takes, And no matter what torture I must endure, I will end this." He looked down at the straw on the cages floor then as the door slammed close behind him, And murmured softly,"Don't come looking my friends, I'll return...Just stay away and don't follow the signs."
