A reply to Cyriad's letter

(OOC: This should arrive ICly one day later, from the hand of Quintyn himself, giving the letter to one of Cyriad's many employees)

V,

You have proven yourself capable of many successes, and thus I give my own thanks. It would seem that Henry Redstem is indeed far more tricky to deal with than most. He and his father, that is; for I have not-yet come across the 'Great' Geoffrey Redstem.
I do wonder what he would think, should he come to learn of his son's apparent foolery, lack of sense, and poor temper. Perhaps he already knows as much, and is, in some way, corrupt - allowing his son to go free on such charges.
Whatever the case, it is not my wish to use the bounty as a reality. While there is a concept of fear, as you have stated in your many writings, there is a reality of fear. I shall hasten to remove any copies I have made of the bounty -- of which, you should be informed, have not been seen by any eyes, except that of my own, my mutual ally's, and Henry's.

While the murders were mutually beneficial, and Henry has proven his worth - I do believe that his worth is limited, like a single gold coin.
He thinks that I am somehow against him, which is untrue - for, in reality, I am simply seeking to improve both myself, and yourself. He is a piece in this game.

Pieces must act as told, and it would seem that Henry has become problematic - perhaps he should be removed, whether by the law, or by our own means. You, yourself, have stated in your many works, that an enemy must be destroyed. Henry is now an enemy.
I have instructed 'Riverside' to send his pets after Henry's scent. They shall scour every foot of land from Buckland to the Trollshaws.
Henry cannot flee, for he is a fool, and will most likely attempt a northern-retreat to Trestlebridge -- and should he do so, I have already prepared a band of mercenaries to hunt him, and kill him. Should he be out of our reach, somehow, then perhaps I shall wait. He cannot run forever.

Regarding those that attempted to false an execution -- I would like for you to, personally, learn of who they are, and what can be used against them. I will not let fools live, and those that oppose me, directly or indirectly, with intention or not, are fools.

I should like to meet with you in person, to extend my gratitude - for I have only spoken to those that work for those, that work for you. Such alliances cannot last on knowledge that is relayed through two groups of individuals.

Should you be lying to me, expect death. I would like to know the content of your conversations with the certain individual you mentioned - for you seem quite hesitant.
