Within The Wolf's Den
Chaney would awake to find she was stripped naked, and shackled to a post within the clearing just outside of Jagger’s tent. All the men, and even some of the women would leer at her. Jagger would not let any touch her though. She was his prize to do with what he will.
For what would seem days to Chaney, she would receive a daily beating, literally being kept alive on the smallest amounts of food and water. However, her incredible resolve would not falter. This would infuriate Jagger, as he would see all women to be the weaker sex, and yet here was a girl whom was surviving longer than many a man whom had been held prisoner.
Jagger would not spoil her though, not yet, he would attempt to steal her innocence upon the exact day three years ago, when he had taken her father’s life in cold blood.
The days and nights would drift by, her strength and spirit being chipped away at by brutal beatings, torture, and ridicule. Being kept alive by morsels of food and water.
It was during these days that her mind would wander to that of the man she loved. Why oh why had Fiontann not come for her yet. She would look out from badly blackened eyes, through blood stained tears, hoping and praying that she would she him come striding up with his company. The man whom she had given her heart to would be scything a path of destruction through these brigands to rescue her.
Chaney would come to realize it would be but a dream, as she awoke again one dull, grey, rainy morning to see herself still hung at the post outside Jagger’s tent. No Fiontann, no Taala, no Dawn. Tears would roll down her face, staining the floor red where the blood had mixed with them, and then splashing the floor where puddles were forming in the morning rain.
Days and nights would pass like this for what would seem an age. It was one of these nights, however, the fateful night that Jagger would finally attempt his spoiling of Chaney that she would see a dark figure approach from the slopes to the side of her. He would seem to be scouting the area for a purpose. He would not enter the camp, but would remain unseen to the brigands below. Who was he? What was his purpose here? Chaney did not know. All she could make out was a dark figure………
