Uniform
Here at the Watch, uniformity is absolutely key in establishing our presence within the city and upholding our good name. As such, those who fail to abide to these rules may be punished.
You should always be wearing our umber coloured (forester's) hauberk, preferably with a chainmail jacket beneath it, and a padded gambeson beneath the chainmail. This hauberk can be provided by the Captain. Make sure to keep your hauberk and armour in good condition; clean and strong.
Watchers are free to choose what they wear on their heads, hands, shoulders and feet. They must however be Crimson or a plain colour; White, Grey, Walnut Brown and Umber. (Every item should look appropriate to a watcher; simple and strong, nothing belonging to a Gondorian or Elf, if you catch my drift.)
All archers must wear a quiver, but that goes without saying. This quiver must be crimson, but a dyed 'Fine Quiver' can be provided by the Captain.
Any (appropriate) backpacks are allowed in the Watch, and must all be crimson. Constables may wear a simple umber or walnut brown cloak which will be provided by the Captain. Sergeants will receive crimson cloaks.
