Watching the sun set from the roofs of Bree had to have been one of the most peaceful things: golden light streaming onto the red and blue tiles, casting magnificent grace about everything that it could touch. Zurich bathed in the light, her mask and hood set aside as she drank in warmth, the cooling night air pleasant as it slowly began to creep in. Her red hair was pulled over her shoulders, it's messy length appearing thick and wild, glowing like embers of a fire by the golden hues.
Her right eye remained closed, able to feel the warmth and softness by itself. Her entire body was a dull ache; over the past few days, she had been the one to take damage in the affairs versus Estellin. The night of the kidnapping, her wrist had been smashed, her small of her back taking a few more-than-harsh kicks. Following, she had been in the wrong place at the wrong time, cornered by two elves loyal to the Estellin name. They were both overcome with a terrifying disgust of her 'evils', and left the scene with a pounding, struck head, a cheek crusted with blood, blood seeping from a wound upon her arm.
All and all, it had been difficult to haul herself to the point overlooking the inn. It was worth it, though; she felt an ancient bliss, as if the honey light could seep into her worries and cleanse them. The future was nothing but bleakness, unmistakably filled with sure blood and death, eventually her own. She'd watch the world she knew crumble, in the desperate grab for the future Indignation dreamed of, they future that would be bathed in golden light, flicking the streets running red in blood like the fiery hues of her hair.
There was little thought of what had used to be. Time erased her doubts in Harlyn, time gave her understanding, time would be her salvation and demise. The reach for justice upon the lands of Bree would, without doubt, cause her death; but when her life would flicker out, the sun would cast a golden gaze over the rooftops, would find it's streaming rays into whatever window of a building held her corpse, and set her blood ablaze.
