Gwenbur is sat in her new home at the table in Pel-e-Maenas, Falathlorn. It is the morning after her wedding.
And so it is done! I am now joined to my beloved! The event was everything I could have hoped for. Over twenty people showed up for the celebration of our love. When I walked down to the celebration area and saw all those friendly faces, I was overwhelmed. I am so happy that so many people wished to be present on that blessed day.
She ceases writing for a moment when Telfaras approaches her from behind. He wraps his arms around Gwenbur and leans down to give her a gentle kiss on the cheek. She grins, gesturing him to eat the rest of his breakfast.
I was in awe when I saw Telfaras. He was dressed in an olive green robe, shoulder pads and cloak. His hair was, as usual, neatly presented; mallorn leaves finished off the look. He wore a beautiful golden circlet that looked to be Elvish. When his eyes met mine, I felt as if nobody else was around. I walked down the aisle, my eyes fixated upon my then soon-to-be husband. He offered me a warm smile that was full of love. My heart melted.
She sighs happily and dips her quill into the ink.
The ceremony was beautiful. Andarne was wondrous at his job. It was an honour to be wedded by him, he has done us proud. In fact, everybody who attended has done so. We are so appreciative of all the support we have received, despite our love being controversial. It is comforting to know there are people out there who allow love to take its course, who do not judge us based on who we choose to share our life with.
Gwenbur pauses a moment. She glances up at her husband as he eats some bread, his hand on his chin, with a look of pure concentration on his face as he reads a large book. She smiles.
Life can only get better now. Despite these dark times looming over us, I feel hope. I now have Far by my side for the rest of our days. I feel I can achieve anything. I look forward to our future together. May it be a blessed one!
The initials "GBF" are crossed out neatly, obviously made in error. Next to them is the correction, "GBT".
