I can only comfort my little songbird they are ignorant fools, not knowing of what is meaning of our practice of Pleasing.

Until House of Taminel entered as entertainers to Pelargir court, all was on edge of becoming called witches and tossed in dungeons. Some say grace of Taminels foster-daughter Illirel opened doors to noble courtyards and chambers, she enchanted young heir of Pelargir house, and rest is history.
I feel like Taminel, trying to love the lands that never saw a word of Book of Pleasing..it is hard, but we shall try, yet there is little hope if there are not Patrons that will offer their favors to us, or apprentices that will entertain for favors.
