After a long rest the clothes dried a bit more in the sunlight. Daellas peeked into the forest and got the shivers. "This is elf territory brother." Daellas never trusted elves much, although he was never resentful against them, he merely avoided elves when he could. He has heard the stories about elf sorcery, and how they can mess with the head. The brothers started to pack and venture into the forest.

They looked for a path south as they have ventured east far enough. Without really knowing where they were going. Sun was slowly setting and the brothers started to get restless, they did not want to sleep in a forest at night. Arunel has heard stories of trolls coming out at night looking for a meal. After that story Daellas was even more restless, looking around nervously not to be found by elves or trolls. They found a path into a valley where a small river was flowing. They decided to follow it.

A bit further downstream it seemed that Arunel his story held truth, as the sun began to set the first trolls were spotted on the other side of the riverbank.

They sneaked through the woods not to get noticed by trolls. The darkness already started to spread in the forest. At the end of the small river the brothers reached the larger river Bruinen. They spotted an old ruin at the right and a small house on the left. After a discussion they decided to scout the house. It turned out to be owned by a friendly fisherman and his wife, who was willing to share his campfire with them for the night. Just in time! The sun had fallen. The fisherman shared some fish and ale for a good price and the brothers enjoyed the food in this lovely place. Arunel took first watch as Daellas went to take a nap, his shoulder still feeling sore. After an hour sleep, Daellas jumped up grabbed his spear and pointed it at two riders that appeared near the fishermans house. After the riders removed their hoods, Daellas lowered his spear looking completely suprised. Two kinsman managed to find them: Wulfreda and Leofmund.

The brothers were suprised they were able to find them here in this hidden valley, and even more suprised they set out to look for them. They all gathered around the fire to have a good talk. Daellas apologised for the sudden leave, and Wulfreda explained she was angry about being left behind. After a short and good discussion they all agreed on traveling together at first light. A new fellowship is formed! The bought more ale from the fisherman to cheer on it.
