Life of Freia
East of the misty mountains the green grass stretches far . Just above Snowbourne in the Sutcrofts lies a peacefull village called Garsfeld. Freia daugther of Fernmir lived there with her family in a large farmhouse. Her family were farmers tending to the crops and food which was traded with the people of Snowbourne. Freia was a tall woman with long dark brown hair, quite unusual as most women around her were blond. This is explained as her bloodline was not pure Rohirric, as her father was a Gondorian. Freia was a beautifull woman, slender and strong build. In her twenties she was desired by many men but her pride and strong character turned all of them down. Untill one rider of Snowbourn she could not resist, Argath son of Eorath. Argath lived in Snowbourne and decended from the bloodline of Eorl. He was a tall and muscled man with blond hair, yet his character was quite friendly and amical. They married and soon after got their first son Eorath (called after Argath his father). Argath was away most of the time with the Eohere riding the plains, he was a well known rider back in those days. Five years after the birth of Eorath, a second son was born named Daellas, and three years after that a third son named Arunel.
Freia worked hard in the fields while raising her kids like any woman of the Mark should. It was a hard but good life. Eorath was already starting to become a young warrior at age of 14, while Daellas and Arunel were still running around with wooden swords. Eorath was talented and soon accepted as one of the young riders. They rode side by side keeping the lands clean of intruders, untill one day came that changed everything. Argath and his eldest son did not return one day. The advancing orcs were raiding smaller villages and were on their way to Garsfeld. The town evacuated and Freia took both Daellas and Arunel to Snowbourn. After the orc attack has been defeated by the Riders, there was no sign of Argath or Eorath. Both were assumed dead leaving Freia a widow. The dangers around Garsfeld grew untill at one day Freia decided to find safer grounds to raise her children. She left with a merchant caravan and found her way to Bree.
Here she found a cheap and shabby house in Staddle. Daellas was 11 and Arunel 8 when they arrived in Bree. She and her boys struggled every day to get a decent meal. In teenage years the boys worked in a lumber camp, a hard job with little pay. Freia never liked Bree, she hated the men which she thought were weak and honourless. Her pride became arrogance, and the community never accepted Freia as one of their own. As both Daellas and Arunel found their own way in life, Freia became lonely and depressed. She missed the Mark, her family her husband and her Eldest son. She never married again as no man could ever replace Argath. The years turned her into a bitter and lonely woman. She could not see or appreciate all the efforts Daellas and Arunel were doing to support her. As if she was cursed, the years turned her from a proud strong woman into a senile old lady with an everlasting cranky mood.
Now some form of plague has found her. The sickness took the last bit of humanity out of her, as her face turned pale and nasty looking marks start to appear . She cursed both sons, blaming them for all that has happened. She is losing herself and last bit of dignity. Soon her life will end..
