Welcoming Their Guest

The Order had the Manor in tip top shape, everything was sparkling, fires burning, candles lit in anticipation of their honoured guest's arrival.  A small selection of food and drink was laid out on a table in case anyone, especially the guest, were hungry or thirsty upon their arrival.  A feast in honor of Hir Galadhad would be held later in the afternoon at the nearby Inn.

One by one the members of the Order entered the hall.  Each of them dressed in finery as an expression of respect and welcoming of Fairlain's father.  As Alkawen greeted knights, septarians, squires and new additions to the Order, it became increasingly worrisome that two of the Order were still not in attendance and the hour of the arrival of Galadhad was fast approaching.  Turgur and Fairlain had not yet arrived.  Knowing they both had the furthest to travel to return to Arrowhaven, she convinced herself that was the reason for the late arrivals.

At the appointed hour, Gilvendir escorted Galadhad into the Manor house.  The Elven leader of the Order went immediately to greet the guest then proceeded to introduce Galadhad to each of the members present.  It was obvious to Alkawen that their guest was anxious to meet his daughter, but it was not to be, at least at that moment so she suggested they all walk to the Warhorse Inn and begin the feast of welcoming.

Lady Alkawen walked with the entire gathering of guest and members to the Inn then excused herself claiming she had matters to discuss with Sir Balisan and would need to return to the Manor to do so.  Keeping her thoughts to herself, she wanted to discuss with her Komtur, Balisan, about sending out search parties for Turgur and Fairlain if they did not appear in the village by sundown.
