The Lord and Lady

I met with the Lord and Lady of Lorien today. They kindly welcomed me into their city after I showed my loyalty to their people and proved myself trustworthy. I came to them with high hopes, but I kept my requests to the back of my mind. I had only just come to the city, after all. But then I heard it, a woman's voice in my head that nearly made me jump. Her words were kind and soft, but not the ones that I wanted to hear. She told me, 'I cannot give you the answers that you seek.' I left disheartened, but the beauty of Lorien lifted my spirits. I suppose it would not be so bad to stay here for a while, until I can continue my search.
