Rumours of hope in Ered Luin

Spring now beckons and with it rumours that the Elves of Loth-i-Lonnath in Ered Luin are strengthening in numbers. Many of the "Mithdirith" have been sighted riding in their distinctive blue and white, patrolling their borders and roads in and around the settlements of Duillond & Celondim. A rumoured alliance between the Durin's Folk and the Loth-i-Lonnath has found substance as recently a hidden goblin camp was razed by a joint strike. Since then traders have reported the roads being much safer and more secure with the now increased armed presence and patrols. Perhaps this will mean old grievances are now being put aside to face the increased threat from the East, time will tell as grim tidings ever seem to filter further Westward. One thing is certain, trade caravans are now more frequent with even the glimpse of the occasional Eldar trading with Dwarves and hobbits alike. Perhaps the days of old where old alliances stood strong and shoulder to shoulder will return, where the threats from the East are met and brought to ruin. We can only hope so.
