As for when we first started the battle it didn't seem so difficult, but moments later more and more of the Red Witch's grunts flooded in. I was almost out of unused arrows by then. They weren't the hardest things to kill, trained about as well as any brigand, but they definetly had strength in numbers. That fact was enough to send shivers down my spine. This witch has hundreds of thousands too throw away and still have enough to take down any empire she wanted.

I could see Tylan and Brenorn fighting back to back at this moment only from the corner of my eye, then my attension was centered on another Angmar grunt who joined the pile. I saw a sister of Steel fall arrow going straight through her. She hadn't joined but only a month ago, and I remember training her myself. This sight sent me into a slight rage. I unsheathed both my swords and went hacking away at the grunts taking each down with one to two slices of my sword. I had just finished off a rather small gal who had gotten up the courage to charge at me when i heard a crack and a sharp pain go through my entire body from my foot. It was almost enough to send me to the ground and just play dead until the pain subsided. Though I knew I couldn't leave my brothers and sisters now so I look to my foot and there a giant mettal hammer lay. I look for the wielder of this weapon, but one was not found. I slipped my foot from it and hopped to the next kill and the next. I suppose one of the Angmar had dropped it when they perished.
I look now to see Blince Kolten has fallen though my brothers have covered him. I look back to the Angmar who have literally started to pile from me and my covanents swords. Most of the others have started to fall back and I believe I should as it wouldnt be best for me to be left behind. I hop to the group almost stumbling over every body. This battle, no matter how hard we fought or how many we killed was sadly counted as a defeat.
