I wanted to try and inform you that i would like you to issue him with a ribbon or medal, whichever is more appropriate. Given his sheer diligence to the watch, and his alertness when on duty.
On top of that i recall you mentioning promotions, I would like to insist upon you the need to have Fox at as high a rank as you can place him. Further to this i would like to pull myself out of any potential running if i am being considered so that he may achieve it. He is as you put it a "smart arse" and deserves recognition for that, as he is a watchmen through and through.

To Chief Watcher Kamoba,
I must report to you a complaint by a citizen against one of our own. A woman by the name of Bri approached me wishing to make a complaint against a member of our Watch. She did not like the way this watcher apparently degraded the combe folk, and saying that Rohan folk were more honest. She described him as as dark of hair and large.
It is not my place to accuse, but this sounds like recruit Velthinwulf to me, since he is Rohirric himself and matches the description. And the way he was speaking to me yesterday, I would not be surprised.
