Journal 2: Longing for Lothlorien

(OOC: this is written by me. Give credit if used) "Longing for Lothlorien" I miss the boughs of Mallorn trees, flets built high overhead. I miss the hammocks hung in barracks, that felt safer than any bed. I miss the stale cold smell, of wet Mallorn and wet hay... That draws me to the stables, when my mind has gone astray. I miss the sparkle of the boughs, as they bask in Arnor's rays. I miss naps among the branches, on lazy summer days. I find it hard to rest now, without the creak and groan, Of Mallorns dancing in the winds, as elves sleep safe at home. Lothlorien, Lothlorien, for you I truly long. Lothlorien, Lothlorien, of you my heart hath sung. Lothlorien, my love, my dear, deep in my heart, I keep you near. For when I wake, my heart doth break, I find you nowhere near. Alas I only see you, deep within my heart. These memories of Lorien, I never wish to part. Note: This poem turned out better than I had hoped. I must remember to ask Sylrond if he would be willing to compose a tune for it.
