So I was at the pony, minding my own business. When suddenly Alolira, a new watcher, had her dogs try and take me in. Of course, I resisted. *there is a heavily marked out section here, impossible to read* I've done nothing they can prove! nothing! They had the nerve to back me into a corner and shackle me. The people in the inn didn't take well to it, happy to know I have more allies than the watch.
They escorted me outside, and there was a massive argument. I believe one of the watchman threw a punch at a pregnant woman for standing up for me! Shows how honorable they are. The new recruits, anyway. The got so caught up defending their pride, I had the chance to run off. Then I realized, "I have been linked to no crime. I'll get off free if I stand my ground." before Alolira decided to defuse things by putting me on the spot, she said something like,
"Before I take you to jail, why don't you state your case?"
I though for a moment before the words started to flow out.
"I'm not innocent. I have been in brawls, just like everyone else. I hold grudges against the Hawthorns, other nobles.. The watch.. And many others, just like everyone else. I am only guilty by association, not direct action. I am guilty because my friends are guilty. Because I have friends in low places. No, I am not innocent. But I am just as guilty as everyone else you aren't taking to jail." this seemed to piss her off a good bit. She took me away from the crowd, unshackled me, and asked me where Blackbent was. I honestly didn't know, but I decided to make things more stressful for her.
"last I saw? He was in the backrooms of the pony while you were busy arresting me." I told her. I could see her grit her teeth when she released me, unable to pin a crime on me. Upsetting her made my day.
