"Their lives won't be at risk if they aren't close to me."
I pushed me to my top now, I was invited to join the Shadow Blades reunion. That would be my chance to remove the blindfold. I arrived at the party, they where having a picnic. Three men sat around Evallin, I belief one is named Uldor; the other two I don't know their names. One of them was bald and had a strongly-tanned skin, for me he appeared like one of those damn southeners; his attitude was disgraceful too, speaking foreigner languages that no one understood. The other one was pale, maybe more than me; he wore a black outfit and swords attached to his belt. They offered me to take a sit, but I declined. Who knew what would happen, and I preferred to be on my guard with my halberd at hand. Etheirgrum arrived later, apparently Abellinda was resting so he had to keep an eye on Kallian. He didn't stayed for long although, he entered the house before us to take care of the baby. My conversation ended abruptly, it was fault of the mouthy pale man who didn't stopped talking about the "Rohirric history" and my people's culture, how we were predestined to be one way and none else. I had to retire.I grabbed a book to read, nothing interesting indeed so I returned it to the bookshelf. Wandering around the house I started to think, how would this affect me? I needed to do enough damage for them to not want me close anytime soon, better if they think I'm mad. But how, I do not want to do an repairable damage either...
I entered the room and saw Evallin and the pale man really close, it seems I had irrupt into a private moment. I had no idea what to do but I instantly reacted. "Good going there pal." I openly mocked her, he was shocked indeed. Apparently he was expecting for a beating. Evallin seemed mad, that was the least of my problems. "I...um...yes." he said. I asked him to follow me, we headed outside:
"Don't you think you know me kid, because you don't." I said pointing my halberd at his chest, "Listen here, I'm no weak man, I'm no 'good Rohirrim'."
"I never said you were weak sir. In contrary, I believe you're strong enough to hide that you're hurt..." then I pointed my halberd closer to him and lowered it, now pointing to his stomach; it wasn't a bad idea to impale him, the world has enough people like him. "Listen here, you stay away from me. And something else... if I ever see you harming Evallin I'll gut you like a fish. Understood?" the last part was right, I would let no harm touch any of the Shadow Blades, not even from their own ranks. "I don't fear you..." he said. "Understood?" I repeated. "If you're going to kill me, kill me now. Even more, I'll make it easier." and then he unattached his belt and dropped it. The metal from his swords made a deafened sound when crashing against the ground; "Please take that halberd off my torso." and I did so, I now aimed for the neck. He leaned forward and made a slight cut with the tip of my halberd on his chin; blood dripped on my weapon, the red substance. I quickly moved the halberd away from his neck and turned to my left, where I saw Evallin standing. "Dreothorn stop...don't make me call Belle..." she said, her tone seemed serious, angry, and if I'm not confused a bit embarrassed. "As you wish m'lady, you heard me lad. You're warned." I mocked again and offered them a grin. It was working indeed, but I would prefer not to leave. "Please... just leave." She said, and entered back to the house. Now I had to finish this, but it wouldn't end with the death of that lad. "I'm just warning you now, but if you try to play the smart lad again I'll gut you." "I didn't meant to insult you sir, I was just trying to be polite and blocking the mocks directed to you by my comrades." he said again, that was getting me to my nerves. Then I did what I wouldn't had done otherwise. I stood close, grabbed him by the shirt and let him take a closer look to my face, hoping that would scare him enough. "Don't you even get near to me again." then I sent a punch to his face, right on his chin. He stagger and fall, then entered back to the house.
So it was done, I hope that they'll never try to contact me again. It's mostly because of their safety... if I wouldn't know Thayalengir any better I'd say he went and spoke ills of me. So that better assure it; now I'm a mad man, and if they don't secure themselves I'll return and compel them.
