A kin's journey to Rivendell : A Bridge over Troubled Waters.

This document is part of the Informational Archive service provided for the Kinship newcomers, in order to understand better the functioning of different type of events, such as group journeys to foreign destinations.

As an exemple of the explicative message send to the members concerning the organization of such events, here is the complete official preparation paper of the Kin's Journey to Rivendell.

I would like to remind, if not inform everyone of the Week end trip that will take place in Rivendell from the 6th July until the 8th July.
It is known many of us have never been there before, and that is why a group departure will be planned, at 7:30pm GMT in front of the South Gate of Bree on the night of the 6th, and the 7th for those who can join us only a little later.
We will be riding, or walking through the journey to the Trollshaws, for some of us can not use the stable horses. We will make sure to take a little time to rest in each city we cross, so that you can activate the stables for the trip back.

After our arrival friday night, we will have a great dinner at the Hall of Fire of Rivendell, celebrate with music and ale, and then spend the night in the Inn.

On Saturday, you will be free to visit the city, thouh we can organize a little guided tour of the Last House of Rivendell, and Elrond's library, as well as take a little hike in the forests where we shall have breakfast.

We can then organize a small hunting party, and scout the region for some of it's beautiful fauna and flora, then we will come back to the city to have lunch, and each will be given the rest of the day to go on his shopping, crafting, questing, etc...

Then we will have another great party at night, where the newcomers will join us, and on the Sunday we will continue with a visit of the neighbourhood villages, scouting for the beautiful landscapes and views, or visit Rivendell as the first arrivers did, for the newcomers.

Then we will organize a last dinner before leaving, and come back to Bree. Anyone is free to leave at any point or to stay at any point he desires.
Now, if you have more questions, feel free to send me a letter and I will be glad to answer.

Fair Winds, Nuithali.
