This seems like a good town, enough people, wandering around, not paying attention. I should do fine here.
Not a word from him, or from his rats. Strange, I thought he wouldn't give up, furious as he was when I put those marks into him... so the Boss probably got him under his control. Well he won't be able to hold him too long though... which is good, for I am ready

Cursed! The first night in town and I almost blew it.
To try to steal from a plausible fellow practitioner... what was I thinking, well nothing apparently
I gotta be more careful, this is a new town, people behave differently here
Thank god he got his mouth open and spoke enough so that I got the right picture in time, blasted if I had fled before that. And I can't be even certain about whether he is what I think he is, agh this is getting to my nerves.
