Telpenaro

A Good Guardian

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

The dawn was overshadowed by sorrow as Telpenaro remembered how the reality was no different from his recent nightmares. He had heard news about Lord Aegnor passing away in Dagor Bragollach, along with Lord Angrod, another one of King Finrod's brothers. And as if it was not enough for hunger of the Enemy, the High King Fingolfin of Noldor had been driven by the madness of his anger, and had died in a duel with Morgoth.

Day Ten - a healer's account

Story

While sitting next to a bush, waiting to see if something else would happen, my thoughts were  going in circle over the events of the day. I already completed a list of the plants and healing supply I used and I was currently contemplating just leaving the camp on my own in search for some heal herbs that were quite easy to find in any area with no extreme weather.

Meeting King Finrod's Court

Story

It was the morning after Telpenaro's return to Nargothrond, and he was back at his home. Though he had slept well, he was not well rested yet after the journey. He eventually rose up from his bed and went to look for some breakfast. He took some honey roasted fruits and fried a few slices of meat to enjoy it on some bread, washing them down with some hot tea.

Things Unsaid in Dorthonion

He was looking over a rolling valley which reached far to the horizon, and he covered his eyes from the sharp morning light that shined on his balcony. He had eaten breakfast and he was ready to take a closer look in Dorthonion. ”Telpenaro, was it?”, a voice called from behind. ”The recruits are expected to meet downstairs”, he added. The Elf he saw was the sarge, and Telpenaro followed him.

Telpenaro had grown to his full stature, being confident with his young eagerness still present. His father knocked his door. ”Come in, ada”, Telpenaro said and Erendo smiled as he opened the door. ”Son, you have advanced tremendously, and you have reason to be proud of yourself”, he said. Telpenaro answered: ”Thank you, ada. Do you have something else to say to me, though?”

Where It All Began

”Do you question my bravery?”, Telpenaro asked when he was sitting next to the table, trying to negotiate his way out. ”I do, as long as you don't eat your mushrooms”, his mother answered, smiling secretly in amused way, knowing her son. He looked back at her with his pale green eyes and sighed before he chewed a few and finished his meal gladly, without any further protesting.

Elloen's Journal, first page:

First of all, I do not write to my journal all the time. I only do that when I feel I have something important to remember. My mother Sírewen used to do so – but unfortunately I had no chance to take it with me, because it all happened so fast. But at least whatever happened to me in Middle-Earth, the Elves that are close to me will get to read about it later.

Thoughts Like a Wind Chime

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

She was standing on the balcony of the Last Homely House, feeling the wind on her face and leaning on the railing. She was there when she wanted to think things through alone, since lately the Hall of Fire had been rather heated and full of crowd, sending the Elves of Vanimar the the fields of battle.

journey and arrival to Gwingris

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Laurelindo was sitting in the middle of his own bags, a simple tent standing around him... So simple actually that it was ready to fall after not even 2 hours. He would have to do it properly in the morning... If he or anyone else really cared about it at the time that is.

His mind was replaying the day's events, beginning with the assembly of those who left Imladris that day :
