Many stories, songs and tales were shared this evening in the hall of the Pillar. Lady Manadhlaer had prepared wassail for everyone to enjoy and the good mood and delightful company made for an especially enjoyable evening. Blessed be Turuhalme! And many thanks to Lord Tindir for supplying the customary yule log this year.
Some verses shared with Diruviel by a guest in Imladris many years past. She believes it is but a part of a longer poem celebrating midwinter. Perhaps she'll come across the rest of it one day, but for now, it brings cheer during the long, cold nights.
Dalsael sits alone on a log some distance from the camp her Father had set, she hums to herself happily as the last couple of weeks had been free of pain and fighting. The young woman hears soft footfalls before arms are draped over her shoulders gently and soft lips kiss her right cheek.
A social meet and celebration of the life of a great literary figure. This will be a short event starting with a brief speech, the all-important toast and then fireworks will be set off in the front yard of the Bird and Baby Inn.
