Dalsael sits alone on a log some distance from the camp her Father had set, she hums to herself happily as the last couple of weeks had been free of pain and fighting. The young woman hears soft footfalls before arms are draped over her shoulders gently and soft lips kiss her right cheek. Dalsael chuckles softly "Hey Elin." she says softly but happily, the face of another young woman appears on her should laughing merrily "It's been a good week hasn't it?" says Elinadfar, another young woman that Dalsael and Dangon had helped a month or two back, she had tagged along since then much to the dismay of the Dangon.
Dalsael had grown more than a little attached to her however "Where's Father?" she says leaning her head on Elinadfar's, the other young woman shrugs a bit "Went to resupply at the nearby village I think..." she pauses for a moment "Hey... Gives us more time alone!" she says happily. Dalsael raises a hand to caress the other woman's cheek "True... I do cherish these moments." she says with a bright smile just looking into the evening sky. Elinadfar removes her hands from where they're draped and puts her mouth to Dalsael's ear "You are so beautiful." she whispers softly using Dal's distraction in the moment to mask the soft sound of her dagger sliding out of it's sheath, Dalsael goes crimson and doesn't notice anything out of the ordinary "Flatterer." she says shaking her head and leaning back into said flatterer. Elinadfar wraps her left arm around the bronze skinned young woman and plunges the dagger deep into her counterparts side.
Dalsael would have screamed if she weren't is such shock as the dagger was promptly removed and Elinadfar moves to let the poor woman fall to the ground before kneeling down and taking the broach off of Dal's tunic. Dalsael reaches out to catch the arm removing the broach and through weak and shallow breathes manages to speak "W-Why... You... You said you loved me? Why would you..." She starts crying as the other woman shakes her arm free of Dal's weak grip and shrugs nonchalantly "Easy money... And a bit of fun along the way... Nothing personal." says the woman who is still standing as she fixes her hair "I almost feel bad for the old man... He knew something was wrong... Be he just couldn't deny his perfect little daughter." Elinadfar says letting out a sigh "Enjoy your last moments." she says in a cold manner as she walks away flipping the silver wrought broach into the air every couple of seconds.
Dalsael just lies there bleeding out for a long moment growing weaker until she resolves herself and crawls back to the camp to wait for Dangon to return, she leans against the trunk of a nearby tree applying as much pressure as she can to her own wound. Dangon returns not long after with a pack full of supplies for their journey that he immediately drops when he spots the wounded Dalsael leaning on that tree "Dal?!" he shouts rushing over and applying his own pressure to the wound, Dal can barely keep her eyes open at this point and really only remembers Dangons words as he ties a bandage as tightly as he can around his daughter "I warned you child... I warned you... I hope there's a healer nearby... Maybe in that village."
Dalsael can't remember any more of that night, Though she wishes she couldn't remember any of it.
