Darkness and treachery will reign where once freedom and love were. Slaves will labor in the spring rains, watched over by those who foreswear all. Here, a new order shall rise, under the gaze of the Great Eye. Its taskmasters shall not theorize, but shall do all for the Eye, all. Now bow down if you value your life, or die if you wish only for freedom. The servants of powerful strife shall not spare even one kingdom, none.

Prologue: The Founding of the Noble Order of the Foresworn

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story
Braziers flared in the darkness, shedding small circles of flickering light, creating a pattern of red firelight and black shadows across the floor of the anteroom. Something stirred in the darkness, impatient for the meeting to come. Footsteps echoed loudly in the stone corridor outside, and the door opened quietly. A shadow slipped into the room, quickly closing the door behind it and dropping the bar across it. Then, the new arrival stepped forward into the light of the braziers. "I am here, my lord," said the crimson-clad Sorceress and Beast-Mistress.

Blood in the Snow

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Teuvo carefully picked his way down the steep slope of the valley. Fresh powdered snow had been deposited during the night in knee deep drifts which made finding foot holds difficult. Using the shaft of his spear he probed the ground in front, checking for solid ground. On his back he carried a large pack with enough provisions for the next few days while the hunting party was away from the village. Winter had made many of the valleys impassable, deep drifts and biting winds blocked the ancient pathways used by the Lossoth.

Summoning

After long and difficult training, and many attempts at summoning a fell spirit, Turvithynga almost succeeded in binding one to follow her while in the Midgewater Marshes.  Unfortunately for her, and fortunately for the nearby town of Staddle, this Angmarim Nethechil is not yet powerful enough to maintain control over a free-roaming fell spirit--she still can only control a fell spirit that has been previously bound by an experienced Echil with her aid.

((Thanks to Baugu for the picture.  I never saw this on my screen before! xD))
