The following is a history of the Eorlingas from the moment at which they were bestowed the province of Calenardhon or Rohan, up until the present day rule of King Théoden son of Thengel.

It details their history and important events from their inception following the battles with the Wainriders in Rohvanion, up until the Oath of Eorl and Cirion, three months after the Battle of Celebrant Fields.
