Thangiriel possesses severe black hair that frames her elegant but sturdy features. She walks with an odd gait, almost a swagger, and shifts on her feet constantly whenever standing still, as if the ground were shifting beneath her. To most company, she seems perfectly friendly but purely businesslike, able to get along with anyone without forging a genuine connection.

She wears Elven mariner's garb - clearly very antique, at least by the standards of Men, and stitched together with such precision and care that even these very practical protective garments possess great beauty. At times, she wears more feminine attire, but seems to be - while pleased with its apperance - surprised that she is wearing it.
