This man bears an upright and noble lineage in posture, manner, and appearance that can be no less than that of the Dúnedain of Middle-earth. His accent and heraldry undoubtedly hail from Dol Amroth, bearing the Prince's coat-of-arms of the ship and swan.
Adûnazîr wears most often the sea blue heraldry of the city clearly visible on his surcoat, which lays over his coat of plates and riveted maille hauberk with integrated coif and mittens. Practical, polished greaves and vambraces sit atop his maille chausses and sleeves. A tall, winged helm with the motif of a swan's feathers sets him apart from the other men-at-arms of Gondor. His weapons are finely crafted and sturdy; his lance, his kite shield and his swords gleam in the sunlight.
When not wearing full harness, prior to September TA 3019, he usually wears a thin, sea-blue wool tunic. Although finely made with silk brocade and ornamentation, it is clearly old and weathered. Some of the embroidery and other embellishments are clearly fraying and the tunic itself is starting to acquire an unpleasant odor despite many attempts at laundering it. Tightly tailored burgundy wool hose, dark leather turnshoes, dark leather gloves, and a sea-blue wool cloak and hood complete the ensemble.
After September TA 3019, Adûnazîr wears a newly-made, albeit ill-fitting tunic in a Belegaer blue and walnut brown color scheme. It is evidently one of the newest tunics made after the latest fashion trends arose to emulate Elvish motifs made popular by Queen Arwen and her wedding party. A lengthened hem reaching below the knees with long and flowing fabric below the waist adorned with nature motifs (leaves, foliage, etc.) as well as wide, draping sleeves and a cloth belt-sash characterize it. |

Background
To the ends which serve Belfalas, Adûnazîr1 has some degree of autonomy as a vassal of his liege, but is never too far from a summons by Prince Imrahil.
Adûnazîr's squire, Ûrîzîr2, follows him wherever he goes both atop horseback and on foot with a banner of Dol Amroth. His gear seems less ornate, and he is seen most often caring for various things in his master's possession. He's devoted, yet inexperienced and more a goofball than a knight-in-training.
Another Swan-Knight, Bêlphazân3 his cantankerous brother, follows often and is clad in the same gear but in slightly darker hues. He is a giant of a man at 6'6"/198cm and 200lbs/90kg; his absurdly deep voice, strength, and vitality are unmatched by most.
The man himself is known by the people of Dol Amroth to be something of a boisterous soldier with a love of honor, thrill, and personal glory. He has a staunch sense of personal principle too, going out of his way to fulfill even wayward requests that willingly bore or promised for the sake of others. The four combine often to create problems of the man's own making, or make circumstances far more difficult for his companions, but it cannot be said of him that he is a bad man or a fool so much as he is bold and brash. His gentility extends to patrimony of civilians, but he suffers no insult to his pride from the Enemy.
Prior to the War of the Ring, Adûnazîr served Prince Imrahil as a knight and man-at-arms who often followed his father, Azrubên, to drive off the Corsairs of Umbars who frequently raided the coast of Dor-en-Ernil, Belfalas, and eastern Andrath. His family's estate was notably wealthy enough to both maintain destriers and arms for both sons and to maintain two small groups of men-at-arms, one commanded by himself and one by his brother.
During the War of the Ring, Adûnazîr, Bêlphazân, and Ûrîzîr defended the wall of Minas Tirith with Prince Imrahil's company on March 15th, TA 3019. Adûnazîr and his men-at-arms sustained severe enough injuries during the subsequent sally-out onto the field that he did not participate in the Battle of Morannon. He recovered and returned home two months later on May 28th.
As of TA 3016 he remained unmarried and had not yet sought a lady to court; his mother Zirânêth attempted a match with a very distant cousin but it never went anywhere.
On June 2nd, TA 3019, Adûnazîr had agreed to return home Filigereth the wayward daughter of Angrenarth, a disgraced knight in service to Imrahil. He found her in Rohan in July. They have returned to Gondor at last, resting a while in Minas Tirith after a hard journey in the wilderness. On the prow of the city's great stone pier, Adûnazîr and Filigereth were betrothed and plan to be married after returning to Dol Amroth. They finally returned to the Cape of Belfalas in November.
