* Settling down in Combe, Granfori began honing her skills in darning her clothes
* Bandits were always a problem in that area of Bree-land, so Granfori helped by patrolling the roads at night, giving cheer and assistance with her songs and sword
* Granfori took a job at the Combe Lumber Camp during the busier times of the year when fences were to be mended and new barns built during harvest seasons

* Learned the value of keeping one's skills as sharp as one's ax.
* Gained respect for how Men live with nature as well as how much they willingly destroy it

* While exploring near Duillond, she slipped off a cliff and was badly injured
* A passing fisherman found her and carried her back to his home
* This fisherman (elf) taught her fishing
* Granfori lived with the fisherman for the next seven months as she recovered, fishing to feed them both and pay for her rent and medicinal supplies
* Fishing became her newest hobby

* Once healed, Granfori returned to the Shire
* Became an honorary Shirriff from all the help she had given
