Maevendis is 27 years old, and some would consider her pretty, in an unconventional way. She's petite, with an odd jaw and a long nose like a slender hound's. Her mousy hair is messy and curling. Usually she's sweet, and only occasionally boorish (if she needs to be).
An apothecary by trade, she's very fine at making and distributing the medicine, but don't ask her to do that nasty surgery stuff -- there are probably better folk suited for it.
She wears work clothes, usually, with a backpack for collecting ingredients/carrying medicines and a large stick with hooks on the ends, for grabbing things out of reach. But, on free days, Maeve can be found wearing simple but nice dresses. |

Background
Maeve was born and raised in Dale, and doesn't have much ambition to leave it.
Like many Men in that city, she apprenticed under a Dwarf when she was younger. She learned the ways of healing and decided that she preferred to specialize in the creating of medicines rather than applying of them. Maddoct was he, and when he left Dale after many years of residence there, Maeve took up his mantle and made a business for herself and her daughter.
Said daughter is nearly eight years old, now, and often at this Woman's side. Fairer of hair than her mother with hazel eyes, the girl is called "Lee", or fully "Paislee" if she is in trouble!
Perhaps scandalously, Maevendis has no husband to speak of, nor has she ever -- she has raised her child with the help of her parents and brothers. Otherwise she is considered an upstanding citizen of the city of Men with not a stain on her reputation.
