Background
Sent out by Lord Dwalin to search the highs and lows of Eriador for new sources of precious metals, Grorax is drawn into the fight of the free peoples versus the forces of evil from Isengard and Barad-dûr. On the way he is forced to reconsider many of his notions of race and politics, finally realizing that the free peoples of Middle Earth must overcome their differences to overcome a much greater evil.
A skilled metalsmith, miner and draftsman (a master of technical drawings of tools, machines and architecture), Grorax is an explorer at heart, always taking time from his travels to simply enjoy the scenery or draft a quick sketch of an ancient ruin or mine-shaft in his thick, leatherbound notebook.
Grorax is a tenacious fighter and very protective of his friends, always helpful but always also searching for new challenges. As he is still young and more trained in weaponry and engineering than legends and lore, he is curious to know more about not only dwarven history but also elves, men and hobbits, as well as the languages of Middle-Earth.
