The Diary of Fallidir: A road renewed by recent events

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary
~Dated 30th of August

The Grey Guard

Kinship Type:
Mixed
Kinship Status:
Dormant (not recruiting)
Background:

With the coming of The Age of Man, and the ever expanding shadow of Mordor spreading throughout the land, a group of travellers have taken it upon themselves to assist the free peoples of Middle Earth. From a chance meeting at the Prancing Pony in the lands of Bree, these adventurous souls have joined under the banner of The Grey Guard to lend their experience, knowledge and weapons to those who seek to halt the spreading corruption of the Witch King.

Ferohide

Ferohide Proudfoot
Race:
Hobbit
Background:
Ferohide Proudfoot is the only son of Postmaster Proudfoot in Michel Delving, the Shire. He can usually be seen wearing a rather pale brown outfit, his pride and joy : the Shirrif's Cap and a brown backpack. As son of a Postmaster he obviously learned his letters rather quickly. He's fascinated with the history of both the Shire and Middle Earth.

Radriel

Radriel
Race:
Elf

Faeger's Notes - the Rohirrim grounded in Ost Guruth.

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary
I was amongst a small company of spears, namely Eomod and Bearwigson, of the Eored, when I came to rest at the campfire of a young woman. It was not long until her...companion, roused more interest. A man, now known as Gondorian born and acquaintenced with the Knights....seemed eager in search for something amongst ruins nearby. He piqued our interest so to speak...and we embarked upon what turned out to be, a dangerous venture East and north of the camp of Ost-Guruth.

Eiadric

Eiadric son of Lēof
Race:
Man
Background:

Not so much a background story as a little glimpse into the mind of Eiadric: Likes the open air, grassy plains and green forests. Cares more for the normal wooden buildings of men than the grand halls of dwarves and elves. Would also feel a bit uncomfortable in say, Minas Tirith and other great Numenorian cities. The Golden hall of Edoras is what he considers “grand enough for any man”. More than that is just plain pride. Loves the Shire and the dwellings of Hobbits. If only they weren’t so bloody small.

A Mighty Small Adventure - A poem

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

In Little Delving there lived alone
A little hobbit, in his little home
Being brave and bold, with fancy thoughts
A big adventure was what he sought.

One spring morning, under golden sun
He sprang out the door, and away did run
To Michel Delving, he soon arrived
A mighty town, it thronged and thrived

At the Bird and Baby, he drank an ale
Whilst a bearded longshanks told a tale
Of flowing fountains and golden trees
Of Fame and Fortune, found in Bree!

He name was Sagewyn if I recall...friendly lass, I have to say. Cene did most of the talking mind, but I was glad to be in her joyful company.

Winter gear

I had to buy warm winter clothes! My poor toes and ears were freezing so much I thought they'd fall off! Much better with boots and a warm fur hood - though I think they were meant for a Northerner's child...
