Journal the Third - Travel

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

My first sight of them was a little intimidating to say the least.

There were about fifteen in total, seated atop their horses. Each one was a local man from the colouring of hair, eyes and skin and each one had a hardened look about him as if he had taken this path many times before. There was a various array of weaponry from daggers to swords, spears and mallets and no two men wore the exact same style of armour. Even the two archers wore differing outfits of toughened leather. Before them all sat her, high atop an oddly fluffy horse.

A letter to my Auntie

Dear Auntie Ethel

I am sorry you are feeling poorly. Mum and dad say you are not up for visitors so I asked them to bring you this letter. I miss them but by the sounds of things, you need a lot of help right now!

I received another letter from Baradar today. I smiled as I held it, unopened, in my hands. The simple knowledge that, far away though we both may be, he still wishes to keep our connection intact warms my heart considerably. I wanted to enjoy that feeling, thus it took a while before I opened it.

I am still in shock at the event that transpired a couple of days ago. I received an urgent summons by Andarne, to which I promptly responded to.

Malakita

Malakita Greenstone, Protector of Shire
Status:
Active
Race:
Hobbit
Background:

My family has been running a trade business with the passing dwarfs for a few generations. But I liked their stories more than their metal wares. In my youth I was running around in the woods of the Shire, to the despair of my family. Later I joined the bounders and then I just happened to travel a little further and ended up helping all around Eriador. Now I'm proud supplier to deputy major Byronbrand of Bramblebury, but it has taken some time to learn how to be a tailor. Any kinship member have very special prizes!

Dear Mother and Father,

Baradar

Baradar
Race:
Man
Background:

Having left Gondor 10 years ago for reasons he tells only a select few, Baradar cuts a brooding solitary figure on the little trod paths of Middle earth, He talks little of his past, but the numerous scars on his face and body tell their own dark story. Recent events have left him cynical, at times melancholy and World weary but he tries to remain aimiable and helpful to those in need...but he is more suspiscous of peoples true motives. Carries a pair of brass knuckles and a small knife in a sheath round his neck, Occasionally wears a pair of forged steel Gauredain claws.
