'Tulu-' = supporter '-Taur = king) is a 68 year old, cultured and retired Gondorian commander who received his pension and went to live in the countryside with his wife. He owns a fairly profitable merchant business in Gondor. 2 years ago an orc raid came down from the mountains and slaughtered her while she was tending to their sheep.

I admit, at first it un-nerved me. A tree, with eyes peering out of its bark, like two blinking knot-holes in its wood, branches moving like true limbs... and a laugh from what I suppose was a mouth. But then, I think.. a dog can blink, and laughter is no sign of intelligence. Even an adle-pated fool can laugh.

I have finished the dress for mother now.

She has not yet tried it on, but I think it will fit her nicely. It is, as she requested, a simple thing in the Bree-land style and without too much frippery or anything to denote her origin. I wonder how well she will manage to conceal that from the local people. She is, after all, a proud tribeswoman, completely unashamed of her ancestry.
