He did it. I do not know how, but he did it.

That blasted elf walked straight into the tent today, as bold as brass, whilst I was peeling some tubers for the evening meal. Foolish creature! He never once stopped to think why I might come here. He learned though soon enough!

After the happy ending, in which the hobbit lad comes back rich and convinces his sweetheart's mother to let him marry her daughter, the crowd shows their appreciation by clapping, stamping and letting off fireworks.

The lass manages to trick the troll into stepping into sunlight, at which it is turned to stone. The lass then disappears, leaving her love to think he managed the troll on his own.

After her true love has gone to find a troll, the hobbit lass sneaks after him. Finding him hurt, she then proceeds to trick the troll.
